Unfortunately the curse of the Chicago Cubs continued through the 2003 season with a heart breaking loss to the Florida Marlins in the National League Championship Series. The resurgence of the team under 1 st year manager Dusty Baker saw the Cubs clinch their first division title since 1989. The Chicago Cubs have had four winning seasons since the 1989 NL West Crown.
